Hi my 8 yr old son has fbook which i access to and the other day someone messaged him saying oh do you live at this address??!!how is this possible?im freaked out as its a road very near to us and this person isnt family or a friend?

Why does your 8 year old have Facebook in the first place? That's a bit young to be going on a site like that. Secondly, maybe he gave his address out when someone asked, after all he is really young and doesn't know what's right or wrong. You should deactivate his account if your a decent parent

Some people spend hours trawling FB for info, but since the person lives nearby, it is possible that perhaps a profile was posted of your Son and was recognised. Can never be too careful when using FB or indeed any other social media.

Why have you let your son have a facebook account when he is SO young? The minimum age is 13
