Someone told me that if the windows on your friends pop up, it's the last person that visited your facebook page. is this true?

no, there is no way to know anyone is looking at your page - anything that says you can is just trying to steal your personal information so they can sell it to spammers

If your using a wireless shared network, make sure you sign into Facebook using "https:" before the www. That "s" stands for secured and no one will be able to "sniff" your login credentials.

Dont worry there is no way or no such option to spy or trace on your facebook page as its is not possible to get the visit details.
