why cant I get rid of the facebook notifications on my blackberry curve? - Nat318 - 02-24-2014 10:18 PM
I have the facebook application for my blackberry curve and when I have a new notification, the Facebook logo shows up with a little red star at the top of my screen next to where my voice mail and SMS notifications are. Today for some reason it won't go away, even though I don't have any new notifications. If I get a new notification it will say "2" next to the Facebook logo and when I check that it will go back to "1" and won't clear it. The red asterisk indicating that I haven't checked it yet isn't there (unless I have a new one, then it will show up with the "2"). I went through my notifications and don't have any new ones, even farther down on the list. I tried taking the battery out and restarting my phone and deleting all my notifications and uninstalling it and nothing seems to get rid of it.

Uninstall the facebook app!

im having the same issue!!! the only diff is that mine says 3. I even went on fb on my computer and deleted the notifications that i had for games and stuff like that, deleted all my notifications, un-installed and re-installed it, turned it off and back on, took the battery out, and nothing worked! i've only had this phone for 3 days. i'm glad tho that i'm not the only one having this issue! i really hope someone can help!
