How do I hide my Facebook profile picture to people not on my friends list? I know I was able to do it a while ago , before the settings were changed. Is there even any type of hack I could use?

Unfortunately, you can't hide your facebook picture anymore.
But, there's a setting to prevent people who aren't your friends from zooming in or clicking your profile picture.
Account > Privacy Settings > Photo Albums > Edit Settings > Profile Pictures > Who Can See This? > Only Friends
