i let my friend use my email adress for her face book account, but now i cannot log in to my own account! how do i now gain access to my facebook account?

If your friend had known the password of ur id then she must have verified her account. In that case you can only do one thing delete ur email id and immediately create a new id by same name after 1 day or try to remove the collaboration b/w ur email id and facebook account......
