Easy college elective/course? - αgηєş - 02-25-2014 12:09 AM

I need an elective for this semester and I want to take something on the easier side since my other courses include a lot of studying. I've taken so far: music appreciation, aerobics, Spanish (thought it would be easy but made a c), art, English literature. I need something easy other than a P.E. class.

I took a Photography class that I really enjoyed. We learned how to develop our own black and white film.

Usually any introductory course isn't too difficult. Like introductory psychology and sociology courses. They usually involve a few tests and an essay or two. Maybe also try a world religion course or film studies.

Picking something that interests you will also make it easier since you will enjoy learning so think about that before choosing an elective. Smile

It depends on your college and the individual class and instructor. Some kids at my son's college make the mistake of thinking that an acting or film or media class would be easy. So wrong, the grading is way more subjective than in other subjects where there are definitive correct answers. Film classes can include much in the way of film analysis writing, and they can be graded very harshly. So it's a good idea to ask friends and other students, and to go on your college facebook page, the one for your year, or the years before, and ask for an easy elective. Look at the class syllabus, sometimes you can Google and find an old one if the new one isn't listed, for an idea of how much work the class is.

Good luck!
