Facebook album privacy? - nga - 02-25-2014 12:13 AM

At the bottom of every facebook photo album there's a public link that you can share (Share this album with anyone by sending them this public link), I sent this link to someone and now I want to hide it from them. How can I change the link or make the link not be found anymore?
Please help!

Sorry, but I don't think you can. The only way for the link not to work is for you to delete your whole album and upload it again.

When you upload it as a brand new album, you'll get a new url. Once you delete your old album, that original url shouldn't work anymore (I think). However, if you delete your whole album, you lose any comments people have made on your photos.

You can't change the link, however, you can change your privacy settings. The only way someone outside of facebook can see your pictures is if you have your privacy set at viewable by "Everyone".

If you don't want those people to see your pictures anymore then I suggest you change your privacy to "Friends Only" if you just want your friends to see them, or "Friends of Friends" which gives access to your friends and their friends to see your pictures.

Other than that, no, you can't change the link. But you can play around with the privacy settings.
