Is facebook better than myspace to join? Safety wise?

Again, I will compare and contrast both of them:
In my opinion: Facebook is much better and much more secure. Why? Because
1. We can tell Facebook is fun, because you add a bunch of applications and if you know how to position them in your profile in order to make your profile look attracitive, then i´m sure it will be fun for you.
2.We can tell its like a MySpace, but a much more secure MySpace, because it doesn't have to much ads, it is easy to use, no complications, you connect to the network in where you friends are, and much more!
I'm not trying to promote any of both, just due to my experience with both of them, I find Facebook more safe, fun and easier to use than MySpace.

facebook in my opinion is more enjoyable, easier, but about the same safety wise as myspace....

I think facebook is better.Reasons
1) You can make it so people can't search you.
2) Most friends come from a certain network.
3) You need your full name to join facebook, so just don't add friends to names you don't know.
4) You can always delete friends.
5) Safer virus wise
