What was the worst time you've ever judged anyone? - shay - 02-25-2014 07:56 AM

What was the worst time you've ever judged anyone?

I'll share my personal story.

Senior year in college, there was a guy in one of my speech classes that I needed to graduate.

He always wore those "snapback" hats with teams like Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers (he was from Texas), and he always made annoying pop culture references with his friends in class and always talked about sports.

The way he acted, dressed, and talked....I thought he was an idiot, intellectually.

However, one day, my friend told me he's a computer engineering major who got accepted to Stanford University to do a Master's degree and he'll be graduating summa cum laude with a 3.93 GPA.....I added him on Facebook...and the ensuing Fall after the Spring where we all graduated....he was at Stanford like my friend mentioned (and he wore Stanford snapbacks in his profile picture.....lol)

Do you think it was pretty bad to judge someone's intelligence off his appearance and opinions?

Anyway, what was your worst judgement?
Why...Yahoo Answers being immature...

It's meant to be summa c u m laude

I am not very quick to judge people because I give everyone the benefit of the doubt until they prove otherwise. I have learned not to judge people by what they wear. except, of course females that dress slutty. It is hard for me to respect those girls who do not respect themselves enough to dress decently.
