My friend has the SAME Blackberry with the same service and when she gets a notification from Facebook on it it goes to her messages and then she can open it from there. Mine do not, I have to open the Facebook app. and go to my notifications from there. Where my friend gets a message in her messages and when she opens it, it goes straight to the notification she got. How can I change mine to do that?

Go to the desktop version of Facebook. From there, go:
Settings > Account Settings > Mobile
And click "Register for Facebook Text Messages".
