Large advertisements plastered on my Facebook? VIRUS? - Megan - 02-27-2014 01:52 AM

My Facebook is REALLY slow today, and really big ads are coming up on every page and ruining the layout. It is slowing down my Facebook. Other websites are not affected. Is this maybe just a glitch? Or is it a virus? If it's a virus, how do I get rid of it?

advertisements are actually the websites way of making money. they advertise a certain object, place, thing in order to compensate the websites no charging for us to use it. It may not be like that for others sites but thats because the bigger then advertisement the more money the site makes. but it makesd our experience slower and them richer at our expence. For instance youtube in its earlier years didnt have much advertisements. but now since the sites gone "viral" it uses its ads as a way to make money as opposed to the pay to play issue.
