What are some Successful ways to market my YouTube channel? - Phillip - 10-15-2012 07:42 PM

Hello,

I've recently started creating "Let's Play" videos on YouTube. My channel is: http://www.youtube.com/preferNERD , I try to put out GREAT content daily and I have fun while doing it. I've had moderate success, seeing how I've only started last week.

I was wondering if there is any other ways to market my page? I have a Twitter, Facebook, Digg, Stumble Upon, etc. I know I can't expect immediate results, but I was wondering if anyone else has some tips.

I also post on forums that I'm a part of.

Perhaps, the easiest way to market your videos is to let friends, family members, or coworkers know that you have videos available for viewing on YouTube. For the best chance of success, you are advised to email the direct links for your videos to those that you know. If you just happen to mention having your videos on YouTube to a friend in passing, let them know what your videos are about or what your screen name is. YouTube allows site visitors to browse through all of their videos or search for something in particular, like one of your videos.

You have to effectively promote your youtube videos to these social networks, only after that your videos will go viral and you will get maximum success at Youtube.
Here are some tips for you-
1)Create a facebook page for your videos (with massive numbers of Like)
2) Have a twitter account with lots of followers
3) Use proper tags while uploading your videos in youtube.
