From what I understand, while on my business pg, I'm suppose to go to like the page on my personal facebook page, then go to my business page, hit edit page, featured, add featured pages...but, I can't click it. So what is going on w/ that, how do I like other fb pgs on my bus pg (like how you can on your personal fb pg)?

you cant, business pages are purposly made so only people can comment/like ect. about your page, it cant be used like a normal facebook account.

Search for the other pages you want to search in the search tab, and start clicking the like button......
