Do the facebook notifications sent to your cell cost money? help =]? - Blondieeeeâ„¢ - 03-02-2014 02:09 AM

I know that the text itself costs money, but does facebook charge you somehow?

facebook itself doesn't charge you. it just goes with how your texting plan for your phone is.

No. Basic text charges ,if any, apply from your wireless carrier not from FACEBOOK.

I don't think so. If you're worried, just do the e'mail. Besides, I wouldn't want all those texts anyway.

No I have it on my phone and only your phone plan charges you for the text.facebook doesn't charge you.

Facebook itself doesn't charge you anything. If you are charged something, it would be entirely on your Cell Phone Carrier's end.

On the Carrier end, it'll depend on how you setup notifications. If you receive notifications by text then you're charged your normal text messaging rates. If you setup to receive notifications by email, and have an Unlimited Data plan on a phone like the iPhone or Blackberry, then you're charged nothing.
