I want to hope that this soldier, whose name sounds more at home in the likes of Russia, is not representative of the whole. I remember from my youth a couple of local Glaswegian boys who joined the army just to go and shoot Catholics,I kid you not and sadly there will be a small percentage of that type of mentality in any army.My fear is in a prolonged conflict it would become more common, heaven forbid, the norm.

The photo tells me that somebody saw a child in his gun sight and did not shoot.
If the Palestinian terrorists did no more than look through their gun sights, nobody would be complaining.
Of course it was very rude.
But to answer your question, I seriously doubt that most Israeli soldiers think it is okay to broadcast a picture like that.

You bet ye, IDF snipers DO regularly target Palestinian children with head-shots. That sadly is nothing new --nor is their imprisoning of them in adult prisons.

But now there is this.

Some say they taught the Syrian warlords all they know. It seems to be catching.

There was a question here about whether it is better to live in Somalia or North Korea.

We'd better have an alternative to this mentality before it becomes the New World Order, and anyone who is not a hardworking net contributor to society ends up in the sights.
