Does anybody know if I download the facebook app on my iphone, will it appear on my friend's newsfeed? eg. xxx downloaded facebook app for iphone.
I wanto to download it, but I don't want some people to know it.

No. When you download it you are not logged in and it does not know who you are.

No it won't appear ON the news feed or any where on Facebook. Unless you go on sharing that news on Facebook.
