Should I deactivate my Facebook? - Aeneas - 03-03-2014 10:49 AM

I waste my time looking at it, and not really getting anything out of it. I mostly just see my adult "friends" bragging, and trying to be cool and show off. What losers! They think they're celebrities.

I want to just live my life, and try taking a break from it for a while. Does anyone else feel this way? Has anyone else deactivated their account? Was it worth it?

Thanks.

never had it.... never used it.... the question would be why.... the "friends" i have.. i communicate with directly.... talk... go out... have an adult beverage or two..... having a website so you can post your life to strangers.... seems odd to me... and honestly.... no adult friends of mine use fb... or twitter... or instagram.... I do know some people whom use it... they still live with their parents...

I have heard lots of people saying they felt like that so yeah deactivate it if you want! If you want it to communicate with people with chat just get there numbers instead...

I use the chat all the time, much cheaper than sending everything I say through SMS. Yes, you could call but Im not gonna go into the call VS chat discussion - there is a time and place were both are more preferred.

Facebook itself I dont use that much though. But I think its a nice way to just look at pictures of people you dont know that well or havent seen in a while. I also think its somewhat intresting to see what people are into. But I dont usually spend much time on the "news".
