... yes. I googled myself, got a mixture of gaming forums, social media and some music profile sites.

Yes, anybody can "google" anybody else. What you will wind up with is stuff from social media sites if you use your real name, arrest records, if applicable and possible complimentary or disparaging remarks that people have made. You will also run into a bunch of commercial "people finder" sites that will offer to let you find information about the person you type in. Not to worry, these sites do that for about every imaginable name.
