Facebook switched me to Timeline without my permission. How can i get back to the old setup? i dont know where anything is now.

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update - they are now forcibly converting everyone slowly without your consent

as of April 27 2012, even user agent switching no longer works, facebook fixed this loophole as expected, so it's time to get used to using the timeline profile

Can't. If you don't like it, get off Facebook. People are getting really mad, but nobody is forcing you to use their product.
