is there any way to deactivate a Yahoo Email account? - Ticelynn Kendrick - 03-04-2014 11:40 PM

Is there anyway to deactivate a Yahoo Email account? My kindle fire was stolen and all of my social networks were all logged on including Yahoo. I've deactivated my Facebook and Twitter but my Yahoo is still open. Is there any way I can deactivate it and get a new one. By the way, I'm writing this via computer

Yes you can close it then open another one.

Log into the account you want to delete then. go below follow the prompts. Click edit email information, delete the account and save.

You can't close just your Yahoo email account, you must close your entire Yahoo account itself. Here's how. You must be able to login to any account you wish to close.
