you cant delete....only disable. you will have to contact facebook themselves to delete.

You can't actually delete it, you can deactivate it, but it is actually impossible to remove the account permanently.

Go to account > account setting > deactivate acoount.

Go to your Account Settings and click Deactivate Account. You can't permanently delete a facebook account, you can only de-activate it. If you enter your id and pass , again it will open. So, de-activation is only temporary.

You can deactivate it by going to "Account", "Account Settings" and then "Deactivate Account". If you try to log back in to facebook, it will automatically reactivate your account as back to its state.

You can deactivate it..
Go to ur facebook
Go to account >> account settings
Scroll down at the end you can see written "DEACTIVATE"
and fill the requirements...and you are free from this damn FACEBOOK!!

Well, you cannot really delete it, but you can deactivate it. Deactivating it may sound like deleting it, but it really is just removing your account from others while still having the ability to restart it again. Press the button in the top left hand corner, the last one and press aaccount settings. Press Deactivate, and it asks you if you want to and it gives you all the info you need.

@Yash,login to your facebook account,click profile or edith profile ,look down, you will see delect account button or contact facebook about delecting ,they will guide you.

ur account then go to following link

Or u want to use it later
u can make it invisiable by disable it.
