I just set up a Twitter account this morning so need some help. Every time someone folllws me or replies to my tweets my iphone beeps like if I had a text message. It's really annoying, how do I turn it off?

go to settings on ur phone and then go to twitter and click it then turn off alerts,badages and sounds. also there is an option in the twitter app too
