I got this blackberry a month ago and the facebook app was working ok until i updated it. Now it won't let me log on and says 'we cannot reach facebook server,please try later.' Can anyone help?

haha, this happened to me.
Have you FULLY turned your phone off since you got it?
Try turning it off & then pull the battery out, leave it out for a minute, put it back in, and turn the phone back on again.
if that doesn't work, try deleting the app & reinstalling it.
