Is it a one man Business? Detail explanation will help please, thank you. - Howard L - 03-06-2014 03:50 AM An explanation of your question would be even better. It's incomprehensible. - Eric - 03-06-2014 04:06 AM Facebook is a corporation that later went public on the US stock market. A corporation can sometimes be owned and controlled by one person, but Facebook has many investors who all own part of the company. Mark Zuckerberg owns less than 50% of the company, but due to the way the stock is setup (it has different classes with different voting rights) Mark controls over 50% of the votes, which means he can basically make any decision he wants with little oversight and can never get fired. Around 6% of US companies have this kind of structure. |
