What is timeline on fb and what will happens if you upgrade it? Is it possible to get your old facebook profile back once you upgrade it?

timeline is the name for the new facebook page format that is being released this month to everyone
once you convert, you cannot go back
but it wont matter by the end of the year, as everyone will eventually be converted to timeline and no one will be able to use the old format

Time Line is a new feature of Facebook. It is to be incorporated soon. Now Time Line is in beta stage. I am using time line for few months. It shows your shared information in a time line.
Yes you can deactivate it.
