We are running a small art studio inside the city. My friend told me that Adwords will be a great way to attract more customer. Also we would like to set up a facebook page. However i know nothing about computer

Yup adwords is a great way to draw new customer, especially since your are location specified. You will be able to find your targeted customer with the lowest amount of money possible
i don't think anyone will offer SEO consultant service for free. However i used a company call renew marketing before and i would recommend them to you
