Does CNN own twitter? - Its me - 03-07-2014 11:34 AM

For the past couple of months CNN has been promoting Twitter so much- it unbelievable. Do they own Twitter or something? EVERY show they have is promoting the website- and its not like twitter is a great invention or anything- its good just not great as CNN makes it sound like. CNN's nose just seems to be a little brown.... anyone knows why?

I actually posted this answer in another question just two minutes ago, but a copy/paste still answers this question. Here's the Copy/Paste, in quotation marks.

"Journalists LOVE twitter. We can't help it. It's an drastic change in the way information is managed. Since journalism is all about information, journalists are forced to keep track of trends in information, and Twitter is a very exciting trend. The current events in Iran are only one example of how Twitter is changing the way we get information. In the Source of this answer is a great video explaining this.

Twitter is amazing for watching the news as it happens, if you know how to use it correctly."

For the second part of your question: No, CNN does not own twitter. Jack Dorsey is the founder/creator/CEO.
