I watch tv and they always have a # symbol and a word or phrase beside it. I also see it on the internet sometimes. What does it mean? What is it used for?

It's a twitter thing so you can...show that your post relates to something popular. Like...for example a big one right now is something like #TweetToYourIdolToLetThemKnowYouSupportThem or something like that.

Hash Tags Refer to a Topic And you Can Click on the Topic Word and it will Tell you Who Else Is Writting about it
