You WILL find your answer if you try either of them. - John Hacket - 03-08-2014 03:27 PM I am sorry i didn't understand you, but from my experience http is hyper text transfer protocol an example is 1 protocol 2 site/domain 3 path ===> http://www.facebook.com/stuff/things.html to link from inside the html file you do this <a href="htmlfile" title="htmlfile"> anything </a> if it is an image or video or audio you use the src attribute if it is a link use href but that only works for files in the same folder remember not to use <a> for media. if the file is in another folder inside the root folder you do this <a href="thefolder/thefilethatyouwant"> and don't forget the closing tag </a> however if you want to link back to index.html you use .. to go up one file if you want to go up to files you do this ../.. example <a href="../index.html"> Back to home page </a> easy right? good luck |
