I am using an iPad and just noticed that all the emails from December 2013 are missing. I haven't deleted any.

You might want to check out to see if you had your emails backed up and saved on iCloud you can view that also by going to iCloud.com and just using you log in info then clicking the contacts tab. If that's doesn't work send out a social media post saying what happened and ask for everybody's emails again. hope this helps! GOOD LUCK!
