Having 'followers' on twitter or on any other website is pure vanity - it means nothing.
If you only want fame - you'll fail.
It's a shallow goal.
Why would you want to become famous anyway?
Most famous people would do anything to reverse the process and get some privacy and normality back into their lives.
It's a child's fantasy.
