its easier to use and doens't have as many flash ads etc. Its far less "spammy" and easier for older folks to use.

I tried to do a my space and was confused and thought I would do it later, more than once. Facebook is like super simple and quick to get on and does not have nasty advertisements appearing.

Everyone is on it now so I guess people join to talk to the "people they never imagined having one." Its easier to communicate on and get in touch fast. Its also easier to upload photos and statuses. You can like and comment on things. Most people join to keep up with family and because its easier to find and add friends. Facebook also doesnt have as bad a rep as myspace with spam and privacy.
