I've noticed that often people's profile picture on facebook isn't in their profile pictures album when you click on it. How do I set a picture as my profile picture and then make it "disappear"?
that's not what I mean...
I want the picture to show up on my profile, but when people click on it, it's not in the album

you can configure your settings on facebook. they have a setting where you chose who can see your profile pic. hope this helps

why don't you just DELETE it ? not sure there is a "HIDE" function in Facebook pictures.
Delete it and re-upload it again if you READY to show it in public.
