During The Attitude Era, the only Spoilers you heard where on WCW. Sure, you had Trading Tapes, but that was different. Do people really think The Attitude Era would survive today, were people can't seem to wait for stuff to happen but have to look it up;
DeadManRising:
AJ Lee
Antonio Cesaro
Big E Langston
Brad Maddox
Bray Wyatt W/ The Wyatts
CM Punk*
Damien Sandow
Daniel Bryan
Dean Ambrose
Dolph Ziggler
Drew McIntyre
Kane
Paige
Seth Rollins
Sheamus
Triple H
The Undertaker
Wade Barrett

These people should be the focus.

Well I like to wait and see what happens. But if not the Attitude Era then do something different than the PG era.

However, the attitude era is not necessary to make things interesting again.

The Undertaker
Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt family
CM Punk (damn it; he left)
Daniel Bryan
Wade Barrett
Drew McIntyre (if they give him a f*cking push, that is)
Antonio Cesaro
The Shield

These people are very entertaining. And they are still PG! It all depends on how well you can pull it off.

But to directly answer your questions, yes, it would survive. First off, the fans would respect it more and would not look to "spoil" it. At least I personally wouldn't. And the WWE would protect this asset well.
