Bent made the allegation on his Twitter page. The tweet read: "So we get beat by wigan and to make matters worse my mum gets racially abused by a SUNDERLAND fan. I wont stand for that."
What do you think of this? This is not something we want to see in football. He could very well leave Sunderland because of this and I may be over-reacting but he could. I think this has happened before in the past but I can't remember with who.

i dont think he will leave, and sunderland should try to keep him and build around him they are a good team

He's right, nobody should be subjected to racial abuse in football, or anywhere else for that matter.

Theres no excuse for racist abuse at all, but I doubt it'll cause him to leave sunderland.
