How can I create a new 'group' on facebook? - Mk - 03-12-2014 02:09 AM

I want to create a group on facebook for a students club. So that all the members can join it and share ideas.
Please advise how I can do it?

And what if I want a few other people also to have admin powers over the group?

On the left hand side of the screen click groups and then at the top there will be a bar that says create group, just click on that and get to creating your group.

To make people admins once they are members, hit edit on the group page (just below the groups name, in a blue bar)and click on the members tab and there will be a choice beside each member to remove or make admin, hit make admin.

On your home page, go to the left-hand side of the page under applications and click groups.

2) Click "Create a New Group" on the top right.

3) Give your group a name, and make sure you leave its network under "Global," that way anyone can join.

4) Give it a group type, description, and put it whatever information you want for the group.

5) Then click, "Create Group."

From there you can invite members. Once people have joined, you can then go back to the group, and as the creator, you will see a "Edit Group Officers" link at which point you can determine who has admin power or officer titles.

Good luck.

Wow..I can't believe my wasted time on Facebook came to someone's use. My life is fulfilled.
