So...how come the person you like is alway at the top of your facebook friends list? - emmarox100 - 03-12-2014 10:51 PM

You know what I'm talking aboutWink

The guy/girl you always like is on the top of your friends list. Your just browsing around, check your profile, and whatdya know? That special persons profile picture is sitting right there....on the side of your page.....

Most people stalk the person that they like, well I'm the opposite. For some reason looking at the guy's profile that I like, just seems really weird. I never look at their pictures, or read their info, or even glance at their profile...but yet....he still appears on your friends list on your profile, out of hundreds of people.......We don't even facebook chat because he hardly ever goes on his, we just text and talk in person. Is facebook physic or somethinnn?
always* my bad

According to Facebook:

“Friends who you publicly interact with the most appear first on your profile. Examples of public interactions include Wall posts, comments and mutually attended events — Facebook will never show friends based on whose profiles you choose to view or who you interact with over messages and chat.”

I find it hard to believe that FB doesn't base it on whose profile you're viewing or on messages you send them. The people I send FB messages to always appear at the top of my friends list.
