I downloaded the facebook app and it won't let me upload pics, it's only shows black when I try but it has the edit caption part and the upload button but the pic is all black, anyway to fix this?

Try picasa uploader: http://apps.facebook.com/picasauploader/ It'll work surely.

There are two better options to upload Photos to Facebook. Try those:
