How do I defend my self in a case of Facebook harrasment? - Jordana - 10-15-2012 07:48 PM

So me and a person I know from school got into an argument over Facebook. I told him to get off my page but he did not leave; this is partially my own fault because I argued back. Eventually 5-6 other people got involved, Most of them taking my side. After the argument on my status was over. The harassers friend messaged me and egged on another argument with only me and him. I told him to drop the issue several times. Today he and a another friend not involved with the issue kept on harassing me and throwing paper balls at me. He ended up telling a teacher that I messaged him first and called him a fag, that statement was completely untrue except for the fact that I did indeed call him a fag; now we have to sit down and talk about the situation. How can I defend myself from them if they began the trouble in the first place? I know I did many things wrong in this situation but how do I prove both parties are guilty and not get into too much trouble?
