Deactivate it. That is your only option.

Go on Account and seeing that Facebook is deciding to change every other month...look in Security and then look for Deactivate. If it's not in Security look in the other tabs on your left hand side.

Deactivate it in account.

Go to facebook.com
Click account settings at the top right (drop down menu in the very top corner)
click security on the left
last option says "deactivate your account"
Just be aware that closing your account does not delete any posts on facebook. They have everything you have ever posted stored in their system.

under HOME tab- ACCOUNT SETTINGS- on the left side- SECURITY SETTINGS. Deactivate account.

go to facebook type in the search bar of fb "how to deactivate facebook account" and it should come up and then click on one and go to info and click on it.
