Has anyone ever shopped from maxxshopping.net? - Melody P - 03-13-2014 07:09 PM

Its either maxxshopping.com or maxxshopping.net...anyway, I found a nutribullet system on that website for $64.99 free shipping no tax but i dont trust the website. I want to know if anyone has ever ordered from that site without any issues

With any retailer that would require payment information, you must place a certain amount of trust that the retailer won't use your information in a way that would harm you. This website in particular "www.maxxshopping.net" isn't one that I would feel comfortable shopping at for a few reasons.

The blatant advertising of payment methods on the main page is a red flag to me as well as the fact it's not a "secured" site using the HTTPS prefix. Nearly ALL legitimate retailers or websites that have you enter payment information will be HTTPS.

If you look at the address bar on your internet browser window, on any website you visit, you'll notice "HTTP" comes before the name. Sites with an "S" added at the end of HTTP generally mean the site is secured and will protect you from losing your information to nefarious sources.

The last problem I have is the end of the site name. Very rarely will you see a company use the ".net". Especially a business.

I would avoid shopping at this website to protect your valuable information.
