How do I get more subscribers on my YouTube channel? - Noah - 03-14-2014 05:26 AM

All right, so me and a friend of mine started a YouTube channel for gaming. Our first video got around 30 views right away, and six subscribers. We've posted more videos but they haven't gotten barely any views. Most being around 5-7. I used to have my own channel which had about 50 subscribers and about 19,000 views in all. I'm not sure how I did it, but it was just gaming still. Is there any tips on what I can do? I've made a Facebook page, and a Steam group for it. You can check it out if you want, and can give me your opinion so far, and what I can change. It's pretty amateur so far, but it's getting better as we go along. We'd both love any advice you can give.

What kind of videos are you posting? The most popular ones and those with more subscribers are educative, funny or trending chart busters! If your videos are adding value, find out whom you can target. People subscribe to your channel and videos when they want updates.

You can always buy views and it is not that expensive. This gives you more exposure as it increases your ranking in google and youtube. Try this http://www.peopleperhour.com/hourlie/add-4000-views-150-likes-150-subscribers-10-comments-to-your-youtube-video/107129 it is a good starting point if you are willing to invest in your channel. If not just keep adding more content and share it online with your friends via email, social media... Also optimize your videos internally. This means that you have a good description, tags, thumbnail, and a nice and neat title. This is very important. Hope it helpsWink

Provide high quality content that lots of people want to see and consistently tell people about it every day. If the content is great people will share it. To get to people, you must determine your target niche and go to places they hang out (online or in the real world) and talk to them about your channel. Remember to frame all conversations with people in terms of how it can benefit them, not you. No-one cares about your needs or wants. But if you give them what they want the by-product will be getting what you want.
