To close your account make sure that you are signed
in to the account that you wish to delete.
Special attn: Make sure you read what you will LOSE when you
cancel your account.

When you change your user name you loose all of your older account. It is the same as being a new member, therefore you can't get any information from your old account.
I got this information from Yahoo, because I wanted to do the
same as you want to do.
