So I want to create a Facebook page. If and when I do, will my friends be able to see that I made one?

Yes, they will, but i think you can create a page anonymously

No,if u make a fb page so your friends will not get a notification or they will come to know about this,till u don't message each friend yourself.

Ok, during the first time, all your friends can notice that you have created a Page but not after that. For that there is a trick. In the extreme right top, you can see an arrow button along with Home. Click on it and choose Use Facebook as "Your FB pages that are liked by your friends. You can easily check this by viewing your friend's profile. Also, make sure to tag all your friends in the pic and post it on your FB page. Surely, you would get good response.
