I have not seen this ad in a while, but I think I can remember.
Let me explain, the advertisement for Pascal Swirls goes something like "Have you bluh bluh bluh? Have a Pascal Swirl!", so people made random pages about it.
It is one of those Facebook Page Fads, for example: "Dumping your girlfriend via _______________".

It's because people are faster and faster becoming mindless drones who can't come up with something new so they change a couple of words in some trendy thing that's been overdone. "The awkward moment when your awkward moment status / group isn't slightly awkward and therefore you look like a douche.... Which is awkward for your friends as they realise their friend doesn't realise they look like a douchebag". Etc, etc, it's an ongoing cycle that unfortunately will never stop.
