In video, it is a file standing for Audio Video Interleave (file)

Its a type of video file like "this-is-my-cat.avi"
Other types of video files are: this-is-my-cat.mpg or this-is-my-cat.mpeg or this-is-my-cat.mpg or this-is-my-cat.wmv.
Its got nothing to do with Twitter.
