Does this count as cyber bullying? - Alexa - 03-16-2014 05:23 AM

I am 17 and work at mcdonalds. I usually get along well with everyone, and I have a good amount of friends. There is this group of 4-5 girls there who all hang out and have girls nights and whatever. I get along with all of them well except one doesnt like me. Yesterday I was working (my friend who is a guy was working too) and they came in. They didnt really say anything to me but they wrote all over the guys car with that wash off stuff. Then they threw open and unopened condoms all over the car. I get they were having 'fun' but that is so immature... these people are 17 and 18. They guy is younger than all of them. Anyways, out of instinct I told the guy when I saw what they were doing. He was so pissed, he didnt find it funny at all. One of the girls posted a pic to facebook saying how i ruined it because i told him. Then a women who works at mcdonalds (i never work with her) called me a stupid b**** to to the other girl. Am I just over reacting or what?

Cyber bullying? Yes, it is! But it also counts as offline bullying. You're right, also, in that it's immature.
It kinda insinuates something about them, maybe they'll commit some kind of crime, in the future, if they don't mature up, before then.

If she put your name on facebook that counts as cyber bullying because she is trying to intimidate you/make you feel uncomfortable. I suggest you report that post to facebook, and as for the car incident your friend should probably make a police report because that is considered as vandalism.

That's cyber bullying. It's bullying someone on the internet. It is abusive behavior.
