How do I get followers on Flickr? - Matt - 03-16-2014 07:01 AM
Hi, I've set up a Flickr account but I haven't got a clue on how to get followers or how I'd get people to see my photos. I have an Instagram account, do I use hashtags like I would on there?

Tag your photos. That will make it easier for others to find them and then follow your future uploaded photos.

Join groups that reflect your interests and the subject's that your photo's depict, (you can search for groups covering your interests) post your pics in the groups you join and try adding people in those groups, they in turn may add you and share their pics with you.

You can do the following things to increase your follower-
1. Create hashtag
2. Tag your photo
3. Follow others they will follow back
4. Join groups
5. Invite by email to see your photos
6.Sync your photo with facebook and twitter
7. If you have any website/blog add flickr widget there.
