These are things that you can relate to. Pages are for "fans", so if you see a page like "The Simpsons" you'd join it because you agree with it and you're a fan of the show. Although lately Facebookers have been making things meant for groups in the pages section. Groups are more for common interests, beliefs and causes. They're for bringing a group of people together based on that particular common interest. Also, there are certain things you can do only for that section. On a page, it doesn't show you who the creator or admin of the page is. You can't make anyone admin either. In a group, the admin will show up as creator and you can add officers and admins all you want. You can also make groups private, closed or open to friends. There's a lot of different options you can do with each section. I have joined like over 1,700 pages so far. lol.
