On the right side there is a column that says who likes/comments on other peoples' profiles or other pages the moment it happens. Now it doesnt show anything all it shows is something that tells me to activate chat, but even I i press activate chat, it still doesn't show me what happens. Is there any solution I can use?

that's called your ticker... did you maybe close your ticker?
